Designed for everyday use, the sporty Bolle Montauk Sunglasses have a casual style and a comfortable feel. These lightweight sunglasses offer a thin metal frame and shatter-resistant polycarbonate lenses that are 20 times more impact resistant than glass and three times lighter. They also offer an anti-reflective coating and 100 percent UVA/UVB protection.

These glasses come with the following lens color options:

TNS: Neutral density gray lens provides true color definition. Ideal for all-purpose use. Permits 12 percent of visible light transmission.

Polarized TNS: Neutral density gray lens with polarizing filter. Provides true color definition while fighting harsh glare. Ideal for everyday all-purpose use. Permits 12 percent of visible light transmission.

Polarized Sandstone: High contrast amber lens with polarizing filter. Ideal for everyday high glare conditions. Permits 18 percent of visible light transmission.

Polarized Axis: Customized lens providing the ultimate in comfort vision, soothing the eyes against harsh sun rays and providing a polarized filter to fight glare. Permits 16 percent of visible light transmission.

Tech Talk
Visible Light Transmission: Percentage of light that passes through the lens, depending upon the tint and density of each lens. Darker lenses have a lowerlight transmission percentage as less light is allowed to pass through the lenses, and lighter lenses have a higher transmission percentage as more light passes through.

Anti-Reflective Coating: Glare comes from two directions. This scientifically engineered coating on the backside of the lens eliminate backside glare to reduce eye strain.

Polarization: This optically precise filter embedded in the lens eliminate most glare and reflected light.
